Your mission
YouTube is our primary acquisition channel for the long run. Today the channel runs without strategy, without structured scripts and without iterated packaging.
Your mission: turn it into a system. You write the scripts, organize the shoots with Lyes on camera, direct the editing, ship two long-form videos and one podcast per week, and read YouTube Studio the way a geek reads a terminal.
What you'll have done in 12 months
- 100 long-form videos shipped over twelve months, no gap. A weekly podcast. 30 to 60 shorts per month.
- Average CTR above 8% across all published videos.
- Average AVD above 50%.
- A minimum of three thumbnails per video, title iterations at J+48h on any underperforming video.
- Monthly paid conversions attributed to YouTube growing steadily, tracked via UTM and promo code. Milestones documented and validated with Lyes through the year.
Your first 90 days
Month 1. You analyze what's been produced so far. You produce an editorial strategy (content pillars, formats, cadence). You write and produce your first end-to-end video with Lyes. You talk to customers and understand what drew them to us. You set up solid UTM tracking to measure YouTube → site conversions. You build a deep understanding of our sector, our customers, and how we position vs. competitors on YouTube.
Month 3. Stable cadence of two long-form videos per week + one podcast. You've organized the shoots and the editing smoothly. You've iterated on titles and thumbnails to improve CTR. Paid conversions attributed to YouTube are starting to climb.
Month 6. The production ritual is dialed in: scripts delivered, shoots organized, editor briefed, thumbnails designed upfront. You drive the analytics and pull weekly decisions from them. You already have several videos with a CTR above 8% and an AVD above 50%. Paid conversions attributed to YouTube are growing steadily.
Who we're looking for
- You've already scaled a YouTube channel (yours or a client's) with precise metrics and proof.
- You watch YouTube every day.
- You're fluent in CTR, AVD and retention curves in YouTube Studio in practice, not in theory.
- You use Claude or Cursor to structure your scripts. But AI doesn't write for you — you think and review.
- You ship fast. You iterate on data. You're not afraid to drop an imperfect video to learn.
- You can direct a host live, ask for another take when the hook falls flat.
- You can direct an editor with clear instructions to get the result you want.
- You've edited videos yourself (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, etc.) and you understand the technical constraints of editing.
Nice to have. You know (and use) Vinted, eBay, Vestiaire. You can edit yourself (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci). You publish content regularly on YouTube. You've done podcasting before.
This role isn't for you if
- You do "generalist marketing" and YouTube is one channel among ten.
- You've never analyzed a retention curve in YouTube Studio.
- You don't watch YouTube yourself.
- You expect Lyes to write the scripts and the editor to do exactly what you ask without you getting involved.
