Creating a listing manually takes ages: shooting the photos, transferring them to your PC, writing a title and description, picking the right category, size, condition... AI Listing Creation removes every one of those steps. You take your photos, the AI generates everything automatically, and you publish in seconds.

Adding items by photo

Adding items by photo sits at the heart of AI Listing Creation. From the home screen, tap the + button to start the process.

How does it work?

1. Take your photos straight from your phone camera, or pick them from your gallery
2. Photograph the size label as well so the AI can read it accurately
3. Chain items together: tap "Next" to move straight on to the following item without breaking your flow
4. The AI analyses and generates automatically:
   • An SEO-friendly title
   • A full description
   • The brand
   • The category
   • The size
   • The condition
   • The colours
   • The parcel size
5. Review and tweak: everything is editable. If an item has a small flaw, you can add it to the description
6. Fill in your prices: enter your purchase price (for your bookkeeping) and your selling price
7. Save: the item is ready to be published

Favourites system

If you often repeat the same inputs (same size, same brand, same category...), you can save those values as favourites. They will appear at the top of the list for an even faster fill-in.

Why is it so powerful?

Instead of the old workflow (shoot the photos, transfer them to your PC, prepare listings one by one, then push them to each marketplace), you can now batch through them: chain items together, let the AI do the work, and have everything ready in minutes.

Configuring the AI prompt

In Settings > Preferences > Photo upload, you can configure a custom prompt (a bit like a ChatGPT instruction) to give the AI extra guidance. For instance, describe your writing style, list keywords you always want included, or add context about your type of stock.

Publishing, scheduling and strategic spreading

Once your items are prepared, you can publish them to your connected marketplaces.

Important: on Vinted, publish from one account at a time to avoid any risk of a strike. You can, however, publish simultaneously on different marketplaces.

1. Publish at a set time

Publish immediately or schedule a precise date and time in the future. For example: publish now (today at 3:12 pm), or next Thursday at 3:12 pm.

2. Strategic spreading (recommended)

The most optimised mode. Rather than publishing everything at once, your items are spread intelligently across several days and throughout the day.

Example: you have 50 items to publish. Configure 10 items per day over 5 days, from 7 am to 10 pm. ControlResell will automatically stagger the uploads throughout the day (one item at 7 am, one at 9 am, one at 11 am, and so on).

Why does it work so well?

• You stay at the top of search results on Vinted
• Vinted's algorithm rewards consistency: publishing a little each day is far more effective than dumping everything at once
• More visibility means more sales

Ideal for part-time sellers: shoot your photos at the weekend, schedule the spreading, and your items will go live automatically throughout the week.

Once published, items appear in your stock and you can re-select them at any time to push them to other marketplaces.

Custom templates

Templates are an alternative (or complement) to 100% AI. They let you create reusable listing models with dynamic variables.

Creating a template

Build a template by defining:

• The title with variables: for example Jeans [colour] [size] [SKU] for a "Levi's Jeans" template
• The description with variables: same principle — variables are replaced automatically as you fill in the item details
• A fixed category: always the same for this type of item
• A fixed brand: pre-filled automatically

The AI fills in the blanks

Any fields you leave empty in the template are filled in automatically by the AI. For example, if you don't set the condition, size or colour in your template, the AI takes over and generates them from the photo.

Use cases

Templates are particularly useful when:

• You have specific hashtags that must never change from one listing to another
• You regularly sell the same type of items (e.g. Levi's jeans, Nike trainers...)
• You want a standardised description format for your shop

Using a template

1. Enable templates in the settings
2. In the photo upload flow, select your template before taking the photos
3. The template button in the top-right lets you edit the current template if needed
4. You can create multiple templates and switch between them depending on the type of item

Web version

All AI Listing Creation features are also available on the ControlResell web app.

The advantage of the web version: you can do everything from the keyboard, which is extremely fast. The workflow is the same: select your items, hit next, the AI analyses the photos, you review them, enter the purchase and selling prices, save, then publish by choosing your marketplaces and the release date.

Title and description (settings)

In the settings, you can configure sample titles and descriptions to guide the AI during 100% photo-based uploads. If you leave this section empty, the AI will base new listings on the ones already live on your connected marketplaces.

The counter resets every month. You can track your usage from your dashboard.
